All the works of Layra are inspired by the international progressive rock trend: Genesis of Peter Gabriel, Yes, Rush and Marillion. They didn't neglect the metal contamination experienced by this kind of music resulting in the genre known as Progressive Metal: Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree and Pain of Salvation are some of the bands on the international stage that clearly inspired the Layra.
